Community Engaged Student Final Projects: Civil and Environmental Engineering and Urban Planning

Last week, Portland State University’s Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) and Masters of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) programs concluded the spring quarter with final project presentations. A handful of the final projects focused on transportation, addressing issues from ADA accessibility and street design to walkability and the Green Loop.

TREC is hiring a Research Assistant! This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get involved in transportation research related to safety, walking, biking, transit, EVs and more. This is an in-person (virtual up to 1 day/week), fixed term position dependent on research/grant funding. Current end date is 06/30/2027. May be extended based on funding. FTE variable between .5 and 1.0 FTE, starting at 1.0 FTE.
